Post Wormholes are when a beam of light..

    Worm Holes

Wormholes are when a beam of light is transversing a path between two-points in curved space time.

A Wormholes’ opening is called the mouth and the middle is called the throat and the throat is filled with negative energy.
Wormholes can create a path inside the same universe, this is called intra-universe or the wormhole can create a path between two different universes, this term is called inter-universe Wormholes are like shortcuts through space and time and whatever goes in the wormhole can have instantaneous travel from one end of this universe to the other.

Wormholes can not be used for space travel because the current understanding of wormholes is that they are highly unstable and as soon as a wormhole is created the “Throat” of the wormhole will be pinched and will be disconnected, and this happens whenever something tries to go threw it and when the wormhole is disconnected/collapse and whatever is in it at the time when it collapsed/disconnected will be destroyed. Another reason why they cannot be used for space travel is that some scientists believe that wormholes are too small to travel through and if you tried you would be destroyed.

Scientists believe to keep wormholes open long enough to travel through them, they believe that they would need a more advanced understanding of exotic matter and negative energy.

    INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT WORMHOLES

Fact 1 – Wormholes can most likely access parallel universes, different time periods within the universe and or places within a single universe.

Fact 2 – Wormholes are so tiny that humans couldn’t use them but with new and improving technologies scientists could possibly capture and enlarge the wormholes so that they could be of use to us.

Fact 3 – Since wormholes are unstable, as soon as wormholes are created they would be “pinched” off instantly if even the tiniest amount of matter tried to pass through it.

Fact 4 – Einsteins theoretical wormhole is supposedly created for a brief second and then pinched off and anything in it at that time would be destroyed

Fact 5 – Wormholes give us instantaneous travel from one point to the other

OMG! I just finished watching 5 seasons of Fringe, which I thought was totally sci-fi...but maybe in the not too distant future it will all be possible, eh? Good read, thanks boothole!

We could also theoretically create a wormhole through a warp drive which would have such a strong pull on space that it bends around us. Which is basically the same principle behind a wormhole.
