A foreigner with poor language skills
is employed as an electricity meter reader at RWE. He rings the doorbell at the first house. The housewife opens the door. The foreigner asks: "How many numbers are you in the light?". The housewife slams the door. He rings again. The housewife opens again. But this time the foreigner puts his foot in the door and says: "If you don't tell me how many lights you have, then I'll tell my boss. He'll cut off your husband's string, then you'll have to do it with a candle!"
