A favourite dessert...my hockey boys luved it!
4-5 cups grapes (I prefer purple, left whole)
2 cups sour cream
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
Wash and dry the grapes and set in a large bowl.
Mix sour crea, sugar and vanilla. Pour over grapes and stir gently. Pour into a 9x13 pan or individual serving dishes.
In a saucepan, bring butter and brown sugar just to a simmering boil. Immediately pour over grape mixture, do no stir. It won't cover, will look more like you drizzled it.
Chill for 3-4 hours.
For variation...any fresh fruit would work, ie, raspberries, blackberries, sliced peaches, etc.
