A fabulous dessert...!
Base:
1 and 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup margarine
2 tsp. ice water
1/2 cup sliced almonds
Mix base like pastry, bake in a 13x9 pan for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
Cream 8 oz. of cream cheese. Mix in one cup of Cool Whip (from a large tub) and one cup icing sugar. Spread over cooled crust.
Blend together two 4 oz. packages of instant chocolate pudding mix, 3 cups cold milk, and one tsp. vanilla, let stand until thickened, then pour over cream cheese layer. Use balance of Cool Whip to spread over chocolate pudding layer. Sprinkle with grated chocolate or mini chocolate chips. Refrigerate.
