A favourite cookie...
2/3 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 and 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup chocolate chips
Mix butter with brown sugar and beaten egg. Add vanilla. Add flour blended with soda and salt. Mix in rolled oats, nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
** ALWAYS bake cookies in the top third of the oven.
