Ingredients:
1 gallon apple cider
1 gallon apple juice
3 cups white sugar
8 cinnamon sticks
1 liter bottle of 190 proof moonshine or grain alcohol

Directions
In a large stock pot, combine the apple cider, apple juice, sugar, and cinnamon sticks.
Bring it to a boil, then take it off the heat and allow it to cool.
Add the liter of high proof liquor.
Pour this into mason jars, put the lids on, and let it mellow out. You could drink it right away, but it does get better after a couple of weeks.
This recipe makes about 9 quarts of apple pie moonshine. You could easily cut this recipe in half if that is too much.

Warning! Apple pie moonshine will sneak up on you! This stuff is so smooth and tasty. Use with CAUTION!

ps ,,, If you dont have real moonshine ,,,use Everclear 190 Proof or Golden Grain 190 Proof ,,,drink it slow and it tastes just like apple pie with a kick ,,,guzzle it and it will kick your ass ,,,lol ,,, Trust me I have been making this recipe for 20 years ,,,I had my first drink of moonshine when I was a teenager ,,,it was very smooth , then I did not remember the rest of the day ,,,lol

Thank You for the recipe!

With all the in-laws and outlaws snooping about this time of year, it will come in handy. ;)

Hey Junky,

When you do this, do you use the clear looking apple juice, or the stuff that has all the pulp included in it?

TIA!

Merry Christmas Eve!

You can use either one , but I use the clear one ,,, Remember the longer you let it set the smoother it will be ,,,I let it set 2 weeks to 1 month ,,,I cant wait no longer ,,,lol

Thanks,

I guess my question is, do you gain anything with the pulp, or does the boiling action just negate it?

Hmm,

Come to think of it, by definition, Moonshine should "look" perfectly clear.

Another perfectly good reason to quit dragging my feet already and get the APM made and aging. ;)

I ain't gettin' any younger or sprier as Winter sets in.

Thanks Again!
